Posted in: Buy a Titan with Eve Isk by admin on August 22, 2010
Well, things are finally starting to take shape with my Titan. It’s taking way longer than I thought it would, but that doesn’t surprise me all that much. After all, I’ve been a little busy with the capsuleering project and defending myself from poachers lately to focus on it. However, I did myself a favor and got the project moving again. Of course, I had to buy isk to make it happen, but it was definitely worth my while.
I took advantage of the deal Toonstorm was offering at the time. With the special they had running, I got a good deal on my Isk and was able to buff up my defenses. The last thing to do is try to get my Titan completed so that it can baby sit some of my assets. People are less likely to farm your shipments if there’s a hulking pile of doom watching over it.
I may as well let you know just how the buy went. Besides having the best deal available, Toonstorm also had the best delivery times of anyone I looked at and that was really important to me.
Here’s how it went:
First, I logged into the site with my secure ID, etc. That keeps anyone too curious from finding out just who I am and who I play. It’s rare that anyone goes fishing for that info, but it never hurts to be safe about it.
Next, I picked out the amount I wanted. I went for 1 billion isk to make sure that I had enough for what I needed at the time, but also not so much that I showed up on anyone’s radar. I processed a payment with my favorite credit card and gave them the info they needed to get it to me safely.
Lastly, I chatted with a rep who verified everything they needed to make sure that I wasn’t hacking someone else’s account for the buy. It’s little things like that which help me feel better about my buys. Then came the best news - I’d get my Isk in all of 5 minutes. Can’t complain about that!
I barely had time to log in and double check the situation before I suddenly had 1 billion isk coming my way. With that in my coffers it was plenty of extra cash to beef up my defense force and keep the griefers from stealing my hard earned stuff. Justice is wonderful.
Ah, the joys of more Isk…
Posted in: eve isk discount by admin on July 27, 2010
So, yeah. Tyrannis is definitely keeping me way too busy these days. I’m working as hard as I can to suck my little dirtball dry while fending off the poachers who keep trying to take away the fruits of my labor.
In short, it’s a blast!
The only down side is the costs involved. Yes, I’m raking in a good bit thanks to the planet, but I seem to have really irritated some local pirate band recently. They’ve been making a point of picking on me, farming me for what I’m worth, but always making sure that I have the resources to rebuild afterwards. That way I can get myself in operation again just in time for them to raid me again. I’d cry griefing, but it’s a good plan and I can’t fault them for it. Plus, I don’t want GM attention right now since I have a plan of my own.
The basic idea is to buy isk up as fast as I safely can and build up a truly massive armada (there’s no way the Titan will be ready any time soon). That way, when they come for me the next time, I’ll be ready. The only difference is that I won’t leave anyone alive to tell the tale.
This, of course, always presents a little dilemma. Where to buy Isk? Well, this time is going to be a no brainer.
Toonstorm.com is offering 10% - 20% off of the whole site right now as a summer sale. I can’t justify buying anywhere else at those prices. Prices are up, like I predicted before, but this will help offset that just a little.
So I hop on the site, pick my server, and make the buy. I want to speed this along so that I can get to building faster, so I jump into live chat. The rep is right there waiting for me, so I confirm the order and get the ball rolling. They let me know it’s going to be about 2 hours before everything is ready.
I log into the game (I’d planned on playing for a while anyway) and get a few things ready for when I get the message. Thankfully, it only takes an hour before the isk is ready and I’m off to do some serious fleet building. These guys have a nasty surprise coming to them.
It’s here at long last!
Posted in: Eve News by admin on June 4, 2010
Yes, I know that Tyrannis ws dropped a while ago, but I’ve been too busy playing it to post anything about it. It’s funny how time can slip away from you when you’re hammering away on new content like that. Capsuleering hasn’t started yet, but I’m patient. Kind of…
As we all know and I outlined last time, the big draw here is that you can set up colonies on various planets and harvest the resources they offer. This can include all sorts of things, like heavy metals, non-cs crystals, and even suspended plasma. Of course, it’s going to cost an awful lot to keep the colonies safe, so I recommend you buy isk in decent quantities so that you can prep for the folks who are going to try and take your hard earned goods from you.
We all know that every pirate out there is going to be drooling at the thought of all of the resources up for grabs. Kind of makes me wish I had that Titan ready. It’d be pretty ideal for discouraging opportunistic types. Too late now, though. Here’s hoping that the fleet is up to the task!
Anyway, I feel like iI need to reiterate a few important points if you’re going to buy isk now.
The big thing that I usually recommend is to only buy from sites you know whenever a new expansion or major patch drops. The reason is really simple: scammers pop up in droves whenever there’s new content to be had. These guys will appear with all sorts of promises they never intend to keep, then vanish with your money.
The other thing to keep in mind is that prices aren’t going to hold steady for very long. Right now they’re right around $14.50 in most places, some higher, some lower. This won’t last for much more than a few days or so, maybe a week at the most. That’s when the supply chain will start to dry up and prices will start to climb. Usually it’s the lesser known places that will feel the crunch first. Stick to the bigger places when this happens, because they’ll have a larger supply pool to draw from. That helps keep the prices lower for longer. Plus there isn’t the added pressure of reduced supply making the deliverers nervous. Nervous people make mistakes more easily than others, which can lead to all kinds of trouble down the line.
Be safe out there!
Some reminders when buying isk
Posted in: Buying Eve Isk 101 by admin on May 11, 2010
Well, we’re only a week away from the next big thing in EVE Online! Seven days from now, they’ll drop the Tyrannis expansion, and the planetary exploitation can begin!
Of course, everyone has been working like crazy to have enough funds to make their first colonies really worth their while. This means hoarding plenty of isk to buy the new stuff with, and also spending some on upgrading their fleet to protect their new investments. The costs are going to be astronomical! I’m just hoping I can have my titan finished in time to make a difference. It doesn’t seem too likely at this point.
Now the big thing that I have to warn everyone about during expansion times is the insane number of scams that start cropping up. More people than ever have a good reason to buy isk, after all. So here are a few tips to help keep you safe from the unscrupulous types.
First off, remember to do your research before picking a site. Check for any third-party reviews you can. Not the reviews right on the site. Those can be faked way too easily to be considered reliable. Check out Bizrate or other sites for some independent opinions, too.
Don’t get suckered into sending money orders. Scammers like to claim this is the only way to avoid getting caught buying isk, but instead it’s really just an easy way for them to walk away with your money. After the order gets cashed, it’s as good as gone. The EVE devs can’t pull your credit card or paypal transactions without tons of probable cause, so don’t sweat it.
I pity the fool who don’t have a money-back guarantee! These are the best thing to see on a site. They indicate a site with longevity in mind. Plus you know they’ll take extra precautions to ensure you don’t get busted because their money and reputation is on the line. If you need to see what a good example of these things look like, head over to Toonstorm.com. Theirs is worded really well.
Finally, use your common sense. Bad sites have a tendency to make really ridiculous claims to try and get people in the door, so to speak. Check with sites that you know and trust, then compare what they offer to the other site. If it all sounds too good to be true, then it is. If it’s more in line with reality, then I’d go ahead and consider it.
A news update for eve isk buyers
Posted in: Eve News by admin on April 25, 2010
Hey everybody.
Well, things are finally starting to come together for the new expansion. It looks like the official launch date has been set for 5/18, and the best part about the whole thing is that it’s free. They’re adding a really REALLY cool feature that allows you to interact with the planets in New Eden!
Basically, what this means is that we can finally do something that made sense to do all along. We can now pick a planet, stake a claim, and start stripping out its resources. This will give us access to way more stuff than we had before, and we won’t be quite as dependant on a fluctuating market to supply us with goods. Now we’re going to have more direct control over the amount of supply on the market, meaning we can set the prices. This will be truly intense.
Now, of course all of this will come at a cost. You’ll have to build a colony up with extractors, processers, and refineries to make the whole thing worth your while. But once it’s done, you’ll be in amazing shape. The best way to get a leg up on this, of course, is to buy isk so that you aren’t draining your coffers to fund the new ventures.
Another cool feature will be the EVE Gate. This basically lets you manage some of your in-game info from anywhere with an internet connection. They’re talking letting you manage your contacts and your profile, and that the game doesn’t need to be installed. I’m a little iffy on the security of something that’s stored in the cloud like that, but it would be nice to do on my breaks or if I’m out of town.
One thing that I feel the need to point out here is that scammers love this sort of info. I’ve seen it happen around every major announcement and expansion that EVE has ever kicked out. They take advantage of the massive upswing in interest and set up bogus websites promising tons and tons of isk for next to nothing prices. Then, of course, they shaft everyone who buys from them once the money rolls in. I’d advise anyone buying right now to stick with known companies so that you don’t find yourself scammed. Buy Isk safely, folks.
Time to buy some Isk
Posted in: Eve Isk Reviews by admin on March 31, 2010
I’ve come to the conclusion that this Titan isn’t going to build itself, and that it’s just taking way too much time to build the thing without a little help. I’ve done this a couple of times so far, but I’m having to keep the purchase sizes low to avoid bringing attention to myself. Today will be no different. I’m just looking for a little boost to help speed things along a little.
I’m feeling a little impatient about the whole thing because a few of the sites I’ve been monitoring have been complaining of really unreliable delivery systems lately. I remember when Toonstorm had a similar problem, but they were quick to simply cut out the people who were causing the problem. Since then they’ve had to slow delivery times a little, but at least they’re accurate. That’s why I’m going to buy from them today instead of someone else. No sense playing roulette with it.
Today I’m going to pick up 300 million isk. It’s running for 18.80 right now which has me pleased. Other places have spiked prices to compensate for some of the supply chain trouble they’re having. So I make the buy and today I’m going to play with live chat to see if it’s still working as well as the old fashioned confirmation call. As it turns out it’s working fine. I talked to the rep for a few minutes to make sure that they’re doing everything possible to keep me safe. No sense getting this Titan worked on if I’m going to get suspended for it. He was really reassuring, and let me know that all of the less-than-safe people they’d had to work with in the past were long gone. Plus my order would be ready in about 5 hours. Not bad all things considered.
And I’m back a bit later to let you know that the handoff went fine, and about half an hour earlier than expected. Time to sink that Isk right into the Titan and hope for the best.
Anywho, Toonstorm is still a great place to buy Isk, so keep them in mind.
Testing means more reasons to buy coming up
Posted in: Eve News by admin on March 10, 2010
Hey again folks.
First things first, I really have to say I’m impressed with everyone who went out after reading the last post and made a buy to help raise money for Haiti. Toonstorm hit their goal in no time with all of your help. A huge thank you goes out to each and every one of you.
Well, a couple of weeks ago, the devs of your favorite game and mine allowed us a little peek at the new expansion via a mass test that they were running. The basic idea was that they need to see just how much lag was going to be produced during combat. It was insane. I really have to hand it to them. You almost never see that level of player and community involvement when a company is developing the next chapter of their world. It just goes to show how smart these guys really are that they’d want the people who spend the most time with their game actively involved in its further improvement.
That being said, I should throw out a cautionary tale from when Dominion launched because I don’t want the same thing happening to you when Tranquility finally comes out.
A good friend of mine was planning on making a big Isk buy. He’d bought a few times before and figured that it would be nice to have a little extra going into the expansion.
So, he shops around and finds a new place that looks awesome. He schedules a big buy (nothing that would get him noticed, he’s no rookie after all) and can’t wait to make the purchase. Next day he goes in and drops his money via Western Union as requested and is told to wait about 4 days for delivery “for his safety”. This is actually not all that unusual around an expansion or major patch. The mods are really paying attention then, so people slow down a little to avoid getting detected.
Anyway, he plays every day or a week straight but never gets a single message about it. When he tries emailing the company he gets no response at all. Finally a few days later the site comes down. Turns out they were another scam out there.
I only bring this up because it’s really easy to get caught up in the excitement of a new expansion and get burned. I know when TQ is finally out I’m sticking with my friends at Toonstorm for a while since they’ve never let me down yet.
Eve Isk update, and a cool chance to help
Posted in: Good Eve Isk Websites by admin on February 4, 2010
Hello again, folks.
So, the Titan build is picking up again, and things have generally been good in the world of EVE.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been so good elsewhere. I was talking with a friend about funding my Titan, and playing EVE in general (he’s a HUGE EVE fan), when this lady comes out of nowhere and starts ragging on us about spending money on games when the people in Haiti were suffering.
This bugged me for a couple of reasons. You’ll see how it matters to the blog a little later.
First off, I’m just as sympathetic as the next person about the disaster that struck Haiti. No one should have their homes and businesses destroyed by an earthquake. And no one should have as much trouble as they are getting the relief they need to help them recover.
Second, I really resent the implication that we’re some sort of slackers or socially irresponsible just because we play video games. Yes, we’re spending a lot of money on a hobby, but so does every stamp collector, bird watcher, and model train builder out there. Just because it’s games doesn’t make it any less valid than any other recreation.
Fortunately, I had a comeback. You see, Toonstorm.com has started donating 5% of every purchase made to charity. They’re saving up to try and hit $7000, then they’ll hand that over to a major charity to help with the Haiti relief efforts. And while $7000 doesn’t sound like a lot, given the size of the business (let’s not kid ourselves: this is a seriously small niche we’re talking about) it’s really pretty impressive.
At that point, I had to ask her just what she was doing to help the relief efforts. Not suprisingly, she just walked off.
So, the lesson here is simple. A lot of us don’t have enough money to go throwing around without seeing something concrete back for it. But that doesn’t mean we can’t help out. Head over to Toonstorm ASAP and buy EVE Isk like there’s no tomorrow. You’ll get the goods you’re after, and feel good about helping out those in need.
Until next time!
Buying EVE Isk 101 (remedial class)
Posted in: Buying Eve Isk 101 by admin on January 12, 2010
Hello again everyone.
I hope everyone had a good time over the holidays! I sure did, especially since my Isk order was delivered the day after Christmas, 2 days ahead of schedule. I love it when things work out.
Anyway, I thought I’d ring in the new year with a remedial lesson about how to safely buy eve isk. It’s been a while, so I figure any newbies could benefit from a crash course.
So, without further adieu, here are some basic do’s and don’ts.
DO make sure that all payments are made over a secure connection. Be suspicious of any place that wants the money through non-refundable places like MoneyGram or Western Union.
DON’T talk about the fact that you’re buying Isk. Personally, I feel that anyone who blabs about buying isk in open chat deserves to get banned. Either the GMs will catch you while they’re trolling, or another player will take offense and report you.
DO use common sense. Outrageous claims about pricing and delivery times are a sure sign of a scam. Does anyone really think that someone can deliver 1 trillion in under 10 minutes? It’s places like this that have caused the purges I mentioned last time at Toonstorm.com. Dishonest practices hurt everyone in the business.
DO double-check the reputation of a site before making a purchase. bizrate is a good place to check for reviews and ratings. For example, they gave Toonstorm.com an excellent rating in all categories.
DO look for a money back guarantee. I won’t buy from any place that doesn’t. It means that the site is willing to put you before your money. They won’t take any stupid risks when delivering your product, because they value you as a customer and want to see you come back again. I’ve noticed that places without a guarantee tend to let the customer come last in the transaction.
These little tips are just a few of the words of wisdom that many people who like to buy eve isk have shared with me over the years. Keep them in mind, and you’ll never have to worry.
Until next time!
Back to buying Eve Isk
Posted in: Good Eve Isk Websites by admin on December 23, 2009
Hey everyone!
I’m really sorry that I’ve been out of touch. I know I said I would be doing regular updates last time, but things just kinda caught up with me. Super busy life = teh suck. Things have finally settled down a little, though, so I should be able to get a little more consistent schedule going again. Not to mention winter is keeping me inside so it’s easier to play now.
Unfortunately, I’ve been out of touch with the Eve world, too, so my Titan buying has been slowed waaaaaay down. I have a lot of work to do to get that project back on track. Fortunately, we all know one way to help that process along.
The real downer is that I haven’t been scouring for sites like I did before, so I don’t have a good review or anything to work with this time. Companies that sell Isk come and go pretty quickly, so while a newcomer may look good, they aren’t necessarily what I’m after. I must say I’m glad to see one old standby is still in operation, though. Toonstorm.com is still around, and seems to have kept their reputation intact over the last few months. In fact, I just read something interesting on their site that I feel I should share with all of you. It seems that they’ve done a purge of their supply chain recently to improve safety to buyers. Delivery times are a little slower than they were before, but they have ramped up the security as well. This makes me feel good about buying from them again because I know that my Isk won’t suddenly be stripped from me. Prices are still good with 200 million Isk for $19.69, so I’m going to place an order now and we’ll see if they still have all of the same procedures in place.
Okay, it’s been about 5 minutes and I just got my verification call. They explained the delay situation again, which is nice. Keeps things from getting confusing. They let me know that my order should be ready in about 5 days. I’ll keep an eye on that and let you know just how it turns out in my next post.
Until then, later gamers!
Hello Fellow Eve Players!
Posted in: Introduction by admin on November 5, 2008
Hello and well met everyone from my all time favorrrrrite game! Eve Online
I’ve been playing Eve Online a little over 6 months now - the first thing I’ve noticed? It takes ISK! Isk to buy EVERYTHING. I have died so many times at the hands of space pirates ALREADY that I lay awake at night dreaming about a bigger ship. Pathetic? Maybe. True? Absolutely.
So about 6 weeks ago I started buying eve isk. The results? They’ve been kind of mixed. Obviously I was a little hesitant to start just throwing bought isk on my main character and hoping things went ok - So I did my research I found some websites that promised safe delivery and at a relatively quick speed. This was definitely a load off the ol’e chest. Which kind of brings me to the purpose of this website - I basically found info on how to buy eve isk scattered ALL over the place; no real authority on the matter; and no collective set of information in ONE place - Well there wasn’t anyway, but all that is going to chance! “Dun da dun” *drumrolll*
The purpose of this website is to educate my fellow Eve Online players; Eve Isk Buyers, and people in general on how and where to buy Eve Isk - safely; with faster delivery.
I’ll post updates on my experiences dealing with different companies, the safest and most effective ways to not get pull backs, and list out some of the places where you’re not going to get your money stolen by someone who lives in a place with triangular hats!
Please keep checking back and I’ll have some more info for you this weekend!
A time for Eve Online testing
Posted in: Good Eve Isk Websites by admin on November 6, 2008
Hello again everyone!
I was going to sit down and play some Eve today but decided I’d just get a head start on this site instead - both Eve related right?
I was thinking of some good ways to track performance of these different websites that I’ll test. The things that would matter MOST to you and I as customers and Eve Online players would, in my eyes, be the following:
1. Time of delivery
2. Safety of that delivery (no loss of isk or account banned)
3. Price
4. Overall experience and customer service of the website
If you’ve got any more suggestions just shoot me a contact email and I can throw that into the criteria, but for now we’ll go with those four.
For my first test I’m trying out a website that prides themselves on fast delivery; and being 100% North American owned and operated - we shall see my friends we shall see.
I’ll document as best I can the order procss and the outcome; then I’ll tie it all into the criteria we listed above. I’m placing the order now for 1 billion Eve Isk. I am buying off Toonstorm.com and the current price is 25$.
Placed the order about 5 minutes ago; got a call to verify I am the actual purchaser. The person on the phone is definitaly from North America - no accent or anything and they assured me the Isk was being sent now; I’m going to login and check it out!
Just logged it and its there…Very quick!
I’m quite impressed with the website and am pretty happy with the customer service and the fact that the company really is American. I’ll rank it on our 4 criteria below:
1. Time of delivery = Great
2. Safety of that delivery (no loss of isk or account banned) = Very good; the guy on the phone explained they have safety methods in place to ensure my protection.
3. Price = Very similiar to other websites I googled.
4. Overall experience and customer service of the website
I would not have a problem purchasing from this website again.
All in all Toonstorm.com is a great place to buy eve isk.
Eve Online Titan - Bought with Eve Isk
Posted in: Buy a Titan with Eve Isk, Good Eve Isk Websites by admin on November 13, 2008
So I’ve set out today to make what I hope is Eve Online history!
What is this amazing goal you might ask? welp I’m going to fund the building of a Titan; entirely off of Eve Isk that I buy.
Crazy - mayhaps!
Useful information comming out of this for you - Absolutely.
I really want to hit the ground running with this thing - Money’s ok right now and I think I can get a pretty good start on it.
What I DON’T want is to get scammed on an Eve Isk purchase and get really demoralized. So the executive decision has been made this week for me to buy Eve Isk from the same place I did last week.
I’m also going to have a longer talk with them this week about security - I’ve got to protect my investment ya know?
Ok I’m placing the order; a little bit larger of one this week I’m going for 5B for 150$. Not too bad at all and definetly will let me pickup the cormacks modified energized adaptive nano membrane I’ve had my eye on.
So here goes the purchase.
I will keep you updated just like we did last week.
1. Cash sent - got receipt email.
2. (about 10 minutes has passed and I got my ISK in game) No need for a phone call this time because I was already verified on their site! Wooho.
3. Going to live chat to pick their brain on security.
4. Ok just had a good ten min. chat with them; they have some pretty solid methods and have done their homework. Very impressed again with the service here!
Thanks for reading guys; next week I’m going to buy some more and we’ll get another review up; and a progress report on the Titan!
Thanks again everyone for reading!
Oh yeee Titan! Eve Isk will bring you to me!
Posted in: Buy a Titan with Eve Isk by admin on November 24, 2008
Hello everyone!
I’m a few days late on my last post but I must admit it has been busy busy busy! I’ve been gathering what I need for my Titan; and I’m instantly realizing this is one heck of a hobby. I’m not really anywhere near the amount that I need; but I’m growing a little closer everyday. I’ve got a good corp behind me and several friends who play - People are chipping in from across the universe
It’s still probably going to take me a few months even at the current rate; but that’s OK! Fun for me and of course more work-time reading material for you.
So this week is Thanksgiving as everyone and their stomach probably know. Going to be lots of fun filled time off; and that means more Eve time. So I’m happy.
I’m going to hold off on posting a review this week; money all went to the turkey and I just don’t quite need more yet in game. Will pickup later this weekend or next week where we left off.
Happy Holidays everyone!
Eve Isk Scandal!
Posted in: Buy a Titan with Eve Isk, Eve News, Good Eve Isk Websites by admin on December 14, 2008
Hello everyone,
I don’t think I’ll have my Titan by Christmas (huge shocker, I know…) but things are definitely moving along. Since the last time I wrote I have managed a few very beneficial alliances in-game and if I play my cards right I might actually accomplish my goal in less time than I thought. With Christmas coming up and family to shop for I have decided to hold off on buying more Eve Isk for the time being, as I have managed what I bought a month ago from Toonstorm.com pretty shrewdly and still have enough to keep moving forward on my goal. (You can read my review of their service just two posts down.) I do plan to buy some more soon, so stay tuned for more reviews and tips on how to buy Eve Isk safely. For now, I leave you with an excerpt from a breaking story about a massive Eve Isk scandal from the Wired Blog. These guys had balls, I’ll give you that, but I’d just as soon get my Isk the old-fashioned way–by buying it legally from a trusted source
Anyway here’s the story:
“Though the truth is likely buried somewhere beneath the plethora of rumors, sci-fi MMO EVE Online is once again gripped by controversy. According to the official report, game masters responding to a player’s petition to address a glitch uncovered a network of player-run corporations engaged in exploiting a bug for unimaginable profits. Over 70 player accounts were banned, but the ultimate effects of the exploit are still being investigated.
The “bug” in question caused expensive raw materials used by crafters to be generated effortlessly, with the banned players selling these ill-gotten materials and reaping the benefits. But the rabbit hole goes much deeper. At a third-party discussion forum, an anonymous poster — supposedly one of the banned players — claims to have alerted game masters to the existence of the exploit as far back as 2004. His petitions ignored, the poster claims to have spent the last 4 years essentially printing vast fortunes of in-game currency, and alleges that many major player-run alliances in the EVE universe were also in on the ploy.” You can read the rest of the story here.
Do’s And Don’ts For Buying Eve Isk Safely
Posted in: Buying Eve Isk 101 by admin on December 20, 2008
Hello again,
Last week I said I would work on some tips and hints for buying Eve Isk safely. So, as promised, this week I wanted to give you a rundown of some of the mistakes people make when trying to buy Isk… and hopefully help you avoid some of those pitfalls that can occur. Some of this may seem obvious to you if you’re a veteran buyer, but much of it bears repeating anyway. And for those of you looking to buy Eve Isk for the first time, it’s definitely worth a quick read. So, without further ado, the DO’s and DON’TS of Isk buying:
DON’T be fooled by outrageous claims. If it looks way too good to be true….well, you know the rest. Sites offering 1000 gold for $5 are probably out to scam you and take your money. Sad but true. Also look at their delivery time claims…..think hard about what is humanly possible.
DO run any sites you’re interested in through a google search. Often the worst scammers will have been labeled by now and discussions and warnings will pop up in a search. There are also sites dedicated to exposing scams, try those out as well. It’s worth the extra few minutes of your time to be sure.
DON’T send any money unless you know it’s being sent over a secure connection. I won’t go into details here, but if you’re not sure how to tell if your transaction is secure, there is plenty of information out there, just Google “how do I know my transaction is secure” or something similar. This is so important when you’re giving out your credit card number.
DO look for a money-back guarantee (such as the one offered by toonstorm.com.) Any site worth its salt will offer you a full refund or equal credit if anything goes wrong. If they can’t promise you that, don’t waste your time or risk your money.

Greetings Readers,
You know that we are always searching the net for safe and cheap websites where you can buy Eve ISK. It is actually rare that they ever come looking for us.
After going though my usual morning schedule, I hopped online to check my e-mail. To my delight, I had an email from the management of Toonstorm.com thanking us liberally for our recent review of their website and EVE ISK selling abilities.
They are so elated with us that they offered up a special DISCOUNT code for anyone who came from this website to theirs. What an awesome way of saying thank you to us for giving them such a great review, and to our readers for striving to find the best EVE ISK sellers in the industry. The discount code is good until 2010. All it takes is for you to go to Toonstorm.com and place your order. On the last page where it asks for a coupon code just enter:
Coupon Code: VIPONLY
To get 5% taken off your order instantly!
As always, if you have trouble, please use the contact us page on the menu if you have any issues, and we will see about getting it worked out.
Thanks and happy reading!

Greetings, Fellow gamers
Boy, how the time does fly when you’re having fun. I’ve been playing a good amount of Eve in recent weeks, and my ISK reserves were getting low. I figured it was time to go EVE ISK shopping again, thus bringing you another review.
For past purchases, I’ve had superb service from toonstorm.com. After a friend related a story to me about being unable to make a gold purchase at an unnamed shop, due to not owning a land phone line for their voice verification, I figured it was time to test them out on that front, to see how I fared.
After creating a new account, and giving them my cell number, rather than land line, I placed my order, with a note that the phone number given was for a cell, I then sat back to wait. To my delight, within ten minutes of placing the order, I was on the phone with a very polite CS rep, verifying my order. While on the phone, I asked about the phone number, and was told that as long as it is a valid number, and they could contact me through it, it was no issue. Concluding the conversation, the CS rep informed me that I should receive my ISK within thirty minutes. I then logged into my Eve account, and had the ISK in less than fifteen minutes!
I am more and more impressed with the fantastic folks over at toonstorm.com each time I do business with them. Next time you’re in need of EVE ISK , you really should check them out.

Hello everyone!
On November 5th 2008 we made a pledge:
The purpose of this website is to educate my fellow Eve Online players; Eve Isk Buyers, and people in general on how and where to buy Eve Isk - safely; with faster delivery.
I’m proud to announce that four months later we have been able to do exactly that! We have received tons of emails from loyal Eve Isk Blog followers who have found our write ups both helpful and true!!
Here’s a few example:
“Hey guys Tori here from Alabama; I just wanted to thank you for the isk tips, although my asperations are not quite as high (I don’t plan on buying a Titan), I have been needing isk to train a few high level skills, and I tried out Toonstorm.com like you suggested in the blog this week and they did a wonderful job…so thanks!”
“Hey how’s the Titan comming?
I tried out one of the sites you listed and it was just as you said, fast and easy
Thanks!”
Hey no problem you guys thanks for reading and sending us an email! We’ll have an update on the titan progress soon…It’s just such a massive undertaking for someone who plays just a few days a week, but we haven’t given up!! haha I even have the Mrs. helping me out a bit with it ![]()
We won’t be doing an actual purchase review this week but of course we’ll give you a place we’ve purchased from in the past and has done well by us. That place is, as mentioned above by Tori, Toonstorm.com.
We’ll be back with a full review next week! Thanks for reading!
Eve Online Apocrypha Expansion Released!
Posted in: Eve News by admin on March 11, 2009
Reykjavik, Iceland March 11, 2009- CCP, one of the world’s leading independent game developers, has deployed EVE Online: Apocrypha, the tenth free expansion for EVE Online. Delivering a massive amount of content in a shortened production schedule, Apocrypha is sure to satisfy pilots of all types with the mysterious appearance of unstable wormholes that lead to dangerous and rewarding, hereto unexplored regions of space, a new level of technology that allows for a staggering echelon of ship production and a re-imagined introduction for rookie starship pilots to a life in EVE’s challenging universe. The release also coincides with a return to retail stores for EVE Online.
“Incredible rewards and certain death await explorers brave enough to fly into the unstable wormholes that have opened across EVE Online’s universe,” says Torfi Frans Olafsson, Senior Producer for EVE Online. “While EVE is certainly darker and more dangerous, it has also become accessible with our revamped new player experience, improved UI and renovated graphics and effects. Beginning your chosen path in EVE has never been easier.”
Apocrypha’s improvements include these highlights and more:
· The sudden appearance of unstable wormholes in space, making the universe 41% larger and much more dangerous. On the other side, a first acquaintance awaits to a formidable NPC group that guards the key to the next level of technology. This unknown, uncharted space allows for a true sense of exploration for those brave enough to grab hold of the dynamic new scanning mechanics.
· Strategic Cruisers come with the introduction of ancient technology into production. These modular ships allow for an extravagant level of customization and versatility.
· The first Epic Mission Arc joins an enhanced new player experience to guide fledgling pilots toward the opportunities space has to offer. This massive branching set consists of dozens of missions that are guaranteed to forge any soft-shelled rookie into a battle-hardened veteran.
· Massive sensory improvements for every player: an upgraded sound engine, brand-new animations for almost every effect in game and beautiful original assets in wormhole space.
· A newly designed skill queue allows EVE’s unique character progression system to truly shine and Neural Remapping provides an opportunity for players to refocus their development as they so choose.
· We are releasing our Premium Graphics client for Mac users and introducing Premium Lite as our new lower-end graphics suite for a more beautiful experience all around.
· Full Russian language support.

Eve Isk In Stock Q&A Time!
Posted in: What does SAFE Isk mean by admin on May 20, 2009
Hey everyone!
I’m super sorry about not being able to update for the past month or so, I’ve been playing the heck out of Apoc and then of course life catches up with ya and it’s been warm outside…You know how that goes
I figured I’d come back with a BANG! or maybe a ZAP! Yeah Let’s go Zap…or maybe even a Pehw Pehw.
Anyway, I’ve got some questions from past blogs that I’ve posted that I think are pretty solid and need an answering. Let me first start by thanking the people who posted these questions and I hope you enjoy the site!
Let’s dig in - The first question comes from Angel about a blog I wrote in February! She asks:
”
Several blogs ago, you mentioned “safety procedures in place” that would assure a secure delivery.
Could you comment on what it takes to make a delivery safely?”
Great question and I totally didn’t think of explaining that good enough. On that particular blog we were doing a purchase from Toonstorm for a good amount of Eve Isk. Safety procedures include how the company you’re buying from handles the ISK. In game there are scammers and fraudsters just like in real life. CCP is pretty good about banning or catching people who set up fake corps in game with the intent to defraud users, and people who hack accounts etc. In that particular blog I had a good conversation with the customer service rep at Toonstorm who handles the Eve Isk trades for their company and I was very impressed with his answers and knowledge of the game. Talking with a fellow player put me at ease, and hearing about how they handle the ISK, purchase from safe places, and the measures they take to prevent buying bad product or get their customers in trouble.
Here’s a few general tips on what to look out for:
